What does it mean to Refine?

1. Remove
impurities or unwanted elements from (a substance), typically as part of an industrial process.
2. Improve (something) by making small changes, in particular make (an idea, theory, or method) more subtle and accurate.

                                            Thanks to Merriam-Webster and others.

What do we do?

We confidentially review your written material of any type.  We search out and REMOVE the impurities:  the missing words, the misspelled words, and the misplaced words.

You might be asking, "What is a misplaced word?"

We would reply, "A misplaced word is a correctly spelled word, but used in the wrong context.  This problem is exacerbated by the frailties and foibles of the English language; so many words sound the same such as right, rite,  write, and wright for example.  Computers do not catch these misplaced words, and your work suffers."

We IMPROVE your work, striving to maintain your voice, while increasing the clarity of your message for your audience.  Yes, we understand that writing is a performance art.  You are creating a masterpiece in the mind of your audience.

In short, The Word Refiner seeks spelling purity, typo-freedom, and sparkle for every document we edit and refine.

How do we do Refine?

Now to where the hammer meets the anvil!
You send us your document in a WORD format, OPEN OFFICE format, or other major format.  Please let us know which one you are using.  Then we get into it with care and hammer and tongs.
Our editors examine your material, line by line, and word by word.  As we proofread your work, each incorrect item found is highlighted in red typeface, and a solution is provided in a comment box on the right hand side of the page.

We return your work, you examine each of our suggestions, and implement as many of them as you, the creator, desire.
We have found that some writers find a renewed inspiration upon considering the suggestions our editors provide.
